A folded-plate flocculation baffle box replaces mechanical agitation with geometry. Water passes through a channel formed by folded plates, and every fold alternately contracts and expands the flow, shedding micro-vortices that drive particle collisions and floc growth — with no impeller, no drive unit and no power input. The modules drop into an existing concrete basin or channel.

Flocculation needs vigorous mixing while the particles are still small and gentle mixing once the flocs have grown. A folded-plate channel delivers both along a single flow path, without a single moving part.
Each fold alternately contracts and expands the flow area. Water accelerates through the contraction and slows in the expansion, shedding a train of micro-vortices that repeatedly bring fine particles into contact — so collision frequency rises without adding mechanical energy.
Velocity is stepped down along the plate train. The early stages run at the higher velocity that particle collisions need; the later stages run slower, so flocs that have already formed are not broken apart again before they reach the settling zone.
Folded-plate packs are lowered into an existing concrete basin or channel and fixed to the structure. There is no agitator shaft, bearing or gearbox to lubricate or replace, which keeps operating cost and maintenance work low over the service life.

We do not publish figures we have not confirmed for your project. Fold angle, plate thickness, module dimensions, design flow and head loss are fixed against your basin drawing and process design, and quoted on request.

Tell us the design flow, basin or channel dimensions and water quality — we will confirm the plate arrangement, module size, material and export packing, and quote on that basis.
