Grid packing for the flocculation stage of water and wastewater plants. The panels split the basin into many small cells and keep changing the flow path, so solid and liquid phase particles move not only with the bulk flow but also with up, down and side pulsation — the proportion of turbulent micro-vortices and the number of particle collisions both rise. Supplied in PP, PVC, ABS or stainless steel, in box, mesh, hopper and herringbone cell forms, made to your basin dimensions.

Why this flocculation grid

Built for the
first reaction stage

Flocculation is the first of the three conventional physical process steps in a water plant, and what happens in that stage shapes both the quality and the quantity of the treated water. This grid is made for that stage.

High strength, stable structure

The panels are corrosion resistant, with high strength and a stable structure, giving a long service life plus easy installation and easy dismantling when the basin is opened for cleaning.

More micro-vortices, more collisions

As water passes through the cells the flow channels keep changing, so particles gain up, down and side pulsation on top of the bulk flow. In the flocculation tank this raises the proportion of turbulent micro-vortices and the number of particle collisions.

Made to your basin

PP, PVC, ABS or stainless steel, in box, mesh, hopper and herringbone cell forms. Panels, cell size and thickness are produced to order, so the grid follows your basin plan instead of the other way round.
